GREAT NEWS FROM FRANKFORT - KY

Case # 00-CA-2693-MR - appeal of Case # 98-CR-0067

Attorney Michael Lemke of Louisville, Kentucky reported today that the appeal of the Scientology backed felony conviction of Thomas C. Padgett of Massachusetts, was overturned in the Kentucky Court of Appeals. The actual higher court ruling will be available on the internet in detail at:

by the middle of next week.

What does this mean in real life?

• 1. Tom Padgett is no longer a "convicted felon."

• 2. Hopkins County, KY Judge Boteler was WRONG (again)

• 3. Fighting the Hubbard cult's "legal harassment & ruin" doctrine can be won with conviction, persistance, and international support.

• 4. Most importantly is that the Scientologist mother who was the ONLY complaining witness in this criminal indictemnt case that advanced to a conviction without a jury trial, can no longer tell her children that their father is a "convicted criminal" to drown them in more cult thought reform efforts using the legal system (and media) as informational control ploys to alter their young critical thinking skills.
