Oh, what a load of lunchmeat, claire. Your "if...then" scenario is totally spurious. I empathize with the truly suckered, whether they've invested with Greed Slatkin, fallen for a Nigerian scam, or believe the codswallop spewed out by your dead con man hero Hubbard.

I pity Scientologists for their greed and gullibility. That doesn't mean I like them, especially that phony superior act and smarmy smugness so many of them trade their money for. I have no patience with determined stupidity. The goal of sooperdooper powerzz is always just one more expensive course away, but they're too deluded to see through the con, thanks to Hubbard's incredibly effective program which paralyzes rational thought and replaces it with hollow aphorisms and fake "concern" for humanity.

If it works, you credit Hubbard. If it doesn't work, you did it wrong.

Scientology takes perfectly good people, scoops 'em out, and replaces them with a Hubbardesque pod person, a mini-Ron, complete with LaRon's vicious disregard and contempt for society and people.

You want to know what "high flown statements" aren't credible? Read the Scientologist's Creed. Now there's a real joke, and Hubbo laughed all the way to the bank on it.
